I have been growing and showing fuchsias at both general exhibiton and national level for over 20 years.

Recent illness and complications due to my diabetes have resulted in me having to forsake the judging side of my hobby and although I am now not actively judging I am still a registered Nation Judge of the British Fuchsia Society.

The photograph opposite was taken by me at the BFS Harrogate Show 2004 it is a cultivar raised and exhibited by Mr D. Edmond and named 'Making Waves', something I am sure it will do on the showbenches in the future. This cultivar is now available from Oxtobys Fuchsias (see links).

Tony’s Topical Tip

Try using a small washing up liquid bottle (make sure it is empty and well washed out though), you won’t over water if you give a short squirt to each plant.
